LinkedInBushra Khalfay leads formulation at ParFay. She holds an M.Pharm from the University of Mumbai, where her research covered polymeric microsphere delivery systems, and has spent five years in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical R&D — designing evidence-based formulations across metabolic, gut, skin and immune categories, then taking them through scale-up on the production floor.
Her work centres on the part of formulation that decides whether a product survives manufacture: microencapsulation and spray-drying to stabilise light-sensitive actives, excipient compatibility and pre-formulation stability, and the process design that holds a formula together at batch scale.

How we work
We do not sell ingredients, take supplier commission, or hold a stake in a manufacturer. The specification recommends what the product needs. That is the whole reason to pay for one rather than accept a free formula from someone whose margin depends on what goes into it.
A formulation that is pharmacologically elegant and cannot be compressed, filled or stabilised is not a formulation — it is a proposal. Manufacturability is specified alongside the actives, not discovered on a trial batch.
The screen happens before the specification, because losing an ingredient in week one costs a conversation and losing it after a purchase order costs a tonne of material. We would rather tell you early that your product should not be made the way you planned.
Each ingredient, dose and salt form in a ParFay specification carries a rationale and a reference. If a line cannot be justified, it does not belong in the product you are about to manufacture at scale.
